Named for Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor - a staunch supporter of the 1897 Bottled in Bond Act and bottled in Bond in his honour, meaning it must be the product on one distiller, in one distillery, stored in a government bonded warehouse, bottled at exactly 100 proof (50% abv) and aged for at least 4 years.
E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel is a gem in the E.H. Taylor family. It has a great balance of flavor and complexity, using every bit of its 50%abv to pull out just the right amount of intensity of flavors in each sip. The Single Barrel release is made with specially selected barrel exclusively aged in Warehouse C, which Taylor built himself in 1881!
